Trust me, I was next to those last year, it's all silicone and botox. From across the room I thought she was 80 I had no idea who she was until she sat next to me.

Yeah, but Crist is a flaming idiot and I have a personal grudge against Gallagher. Bad enough they're the two leading GOP candidates for Governor.... Mind you, Rod Smith is conservative enough that when he ran for state senate, the local left-wing alternative paper endorsed the Republican.

Harris took the heat for Bush and got bashed by the leftist media for doing her job. She played the good girl and kept a low profile in 2004 at the White House's behest. I don't see why she should give up her career forever just because she was smeared by the MSM.

Enough time has passed to confront those old issues and put them to bed. Time to put a permanent halt to leftist whining about stolen elections. Bring it on.

Hey, you're GOOD!

Thanks. I'm excited about this candidacy and not just because she's good with horses.

It's his machine and he is letting it implode.

I wouldn't call having a contested primary "imploding". I think it's good that Florida Republicans get to choose their nominee for themselves rather than being told from on high.

Great picture but I'll bet it was staged. Those stirrups look too long....

I agree. Here in Ohio, we've had our primaries pre-ordained for the last 16 years and wound up with Governors Voinovich and Taft.

Needless to say her official website gives no birth date, but I got these details from Answer.com:

Year Elected: 2002
Percentage of Vote: 55
Born: 4/5/1957 in Key West, FL
Home City: Sarasota
Marital Status: married
Spouse: Anders Ebbeson
Children: 1 child
Religion: Presbyterian
Undergraduate degree: B.A., Agnes Scott College
Graduate degree: M.P.A., Harvard University
Profession: state secretary of state
Profession 2: state senator
Profession 3: IBM marketing executive

So, she appears to be 48. From my perspective, that's not too old. But old enough to be a senator.

I didn't say that she was old, I said that when I saw her from across the room I thought that she looked like an 80 year old woman with a really bad facelift and when I saw that it was Harris I was really shocked that she would have done that to herself. She looks plastic.

Did she ever say or do anything to try and save Terri?

If not she should be taken on by someone who understands
the constitutional mandate to protect FL citizens right to life and
liberty.

IMO

Being that I'm a frisky newly retired old guy, I see nothing but good. :-)

But then again, thankfully she's not a Mary Carey.

Because it's Florida.

Haven't you heard, Jeb is actually Dictator of Florida and the whole state simply does his will.

Her slogan - A Paula Hawkins for the 21st Century! If she wins, let's hope for more than one term.
