"Human Rights Industry"

Pretty well sums it up, right there. Evidently there is precious little money or prestige to be gained by condemning shadowy terrorist organizations. Shaming and defaming organized (and wealthy) democratic governments who adhere to established law around the world is obviously far more profitable.

This year criticism of the United States was both inevitable and justified, in the wake of the Abu Ghraib scandal.

The depth of the problem is illustrated by this statement. Even an article criticizing Amnesty International, itself references a non-event as justification for "sort of" supporting the enemies of our culture and our country.

The written handbooks for agitation and propaganda used by the terrorists specifically targets "human rights abuses", real and invented, as a heavy weapon of the propaganda arm of the terrorist war against civilization.

Still, in spite of the obvious, there is no realistic appropriate response.

I must be living in an alternate universe.
Our government has given the enemy credibility by responding.

The only proper official response to outrageous, obviously false claims is "no comment".
What the professionally ignorant and stupid (MSM), do with these manufactured stories is a whole other thing, and essentially meaningless.

I read a quote from a Russian who was actually imprisoned in the "real" gulags. He said that Amnesty International (among others) cannot distinguish between countries that provide no rights and those that provide rights but have problems.

A very true observation.
