Kudos to our in-house Senate parliamentarian, Cboldt, who has been giving us superb info on the Senate rules and procedures. On yesterday's thread he posted a superb analysis of the "Motion to Reconsider" and how it applies to the Bolton nomination. I have to run, biut if someone could grab it from yesterday's thread and repost it here, I would encourage all to read it.
Also, anyone see Hardball last night? Warner really pissed me off...Bush is your presient, Senator, and the leader of your party, yet you sat there gfrinning like an ass while Sheets attempted to usurp his powers to appoint.

It's probably a good thing that the Senate runs at a snails pace.
Less damage is done to the Nation.
To: ken5050
did they recess already? C2 is showing some old trial of a school district.

Good morning ken5050. I think today is going to be a great day. Brown gets confirmed, Bolton nomination a step closer and Kerry's school records prove he not as smart as President Bush but we already knew that. The only question left is, when does Kerry make the total fool out of himself with these "impeachment" documents?

Actually, I think it's becuase the Dems have nothing to say. They let Boxer and Schumer rant yesterday. Byrd won't dare open his mouth, and Kerry is on all sides...I expect Teddy to deliver a stemwinder..

Sissy really hit the lottery yesterday, he could hardly contain his excitement, he may have even wet his panties.

No speedbumps forseen for the cloture vote, I hope. She is an admirable woman, which is why the Dems despise her.
