Stick a Koran in a fish tank full of urine. Maybe some Freeper can try to get it into a NYC art gallery.

Think of the controversy and publicity the hip, progressive art gallery could attain!!

“It has a different level for Muslims; it’s integrated into our daily lives. We have a very high sensitivity toward it,” Abouzahr said.

We are not bound by your sensitivities.
We will eat pork, drink alcohol and trash any book that is not your personal property.
Any other course is to be under your rule.
Not going to happen. Get over it.

I’d be angry if I heard that anyone touched the Bible. I respect people,” Hachimi said.
You could burn a stack of bibles, assorted tennachs, chumashes, prayer books, siddurs, a torah scroll and a few volumes of the Talmud and maybe a papal encycical or two, Hachimi, and I would not shed a bitter tear as long as you paid for them or otherwise acquired them lawfully.

It's only ink and paper, dude. Idolatry is alien to our tradition. We do not kill people for outrages against a printed page.

They love their right to protest, don't they? Unfortunately they have no clue how they got it or who had to pay what to get it for them.

Oh now finally the cowards come out of the woodwork to show their true colors. What does it tell us that they protest only this particular event?

These days we trust U.S. officials to humiliate (Muslims),” Abouzahr said. “It’s another way of humiliation and enraging Muslims.

1) It's difficult to humiliate Muslims more than they've humilated themselves.

2) A Muslim who's not enraged about something or another is rarer than a Jew in Mecca.

“What I am angry about is the confirmation of this story. I’d be angry if I heard that anyone touched the Bible. I respect people,”

Seems to me that we need to open camps like we did for the Japanese during WWII. Lock them all up where it will be easier to watch over and control them. AND, stop sending our tax dollars in the form of humanitarian aid to all these worthless non appreciating countries and use the money to totally win the war in Iraq.

"They also demanded that all detainees be given full due process rights and that they either be charged with a crime or be released."

Since when do foreign terrorists have RIGHTS???

I wouldn't doubt that these were some of the same people who laughed when the twin towers was hit.

Hey Ali Baba ! I don't give a crap what you think. As a matter of fact, to show my repect each day, I send the occasional breezy blast of 'fresh air' in the direction of Mecca.

The one thing in have NOT found based on the behavior of ALL those in Islam is any respect for their religion of the moon god.
You either have a bunch of active terrorists, or you have their silent enablers who finance them or at help by never speaking up against them.

I think it is a cult at this point. They are not worshiping the same God that Israel and Christians do. It is a moon god and it come with a blood lust.

I also don't like that they have constantly desecrated other Holy sites to build on top their Mosques, IMO those Mosques should be taken back and replaced by the original religions that had them.
They treat others like piss then ask for respect. To this I can only respond, "BLOW ME!"

“This demonstration is to say we’ve had enough,” said Kristine Abouzahr, the event’s organizer. “Respect Islam; stop the torture and the inhuman treatment.”

When Muslims in the United States start respecting OTHER religions than their own, when they admit that they DO NOT have the direct, last and unimpeachable word of God, when they respect the government and the people who have taken them in and provided them with shelter and protection, and when they denounce in unambiguous terms, with no if, ands or buts, their co-religionists who feel it is their God given right to slaughter those who disagree with their disgusting and primitive "religion", when Christians are allowed to build a church in Mecca, and Buddhists a temple in Jeddah, and all are allowed to worship there freely, then and ONLY then, will I consider the prospect of "respecting" Islam.

But of course, if it did all these things, it wouldn't be Islam any longer, would it?

I'd say I don't have to worry much about ever "respecting" Islam.
