It’s a Lutheran church that still believes what Martin Luther did.

Thanks. I've heard of them, and there is a church in the area. Yippee! I can be an real "Evangelical" instead of just being accused of being one by my socialist BIL, LOL! ;)

Our Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Church (WELS) has gained five families in the past two months from a local ELCA church. Issues like this are driving their members to seek conservative Lutheran churches. As with other liberal churches I think we will see these churches start dropping in membership.

BTW, my husband was born in WI and your name would fit for him also.
