Meanwhile it's only the Colts and Texans in the AFC, and lots of new stadiums are in the AFC so that probably isn't going to change drastically.
You can see why, given the trouble dome teams have outside in January, homefield is absolutely necessary for the Colts to hoist the Lombardi. The only dome teams to play in the SB managed to play indoors all the way (the Rams got homefield both their trips, and the Falcons road game was in Minnesota their year). Of course when the Cards and 'Boys have their new digs that probably won't be difficult in the NFC, at that point it will be numerically possible for the NFC to send no outdoor team to the playoffs, and we should see two or three dome teams in the NFC playoffs every year at that point. Makes me glad I'm an AFC guy.
