Extradition complicates case Officials say Mexico won't honor request if suspect faces death
By John C. Ensslin, Rocky Mountain News June 6, 2005
Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey says he has not decided whether to seek the death penalty for Raul Garcia-Gomez, who is accused of killing Denver Dectective Donald Young.
But some authorities say the question is already decided if Morrissey hopes to extradite the 20-year-old suspect from Mexico to face trial in Denver in the fatal shooting of Young and the wounding of Detective John Bishop.
Mexican authorities will not extradite a suspect in a death penalty case, said Lynn Kimbrough, spokeswoman for the district attorney.

I don't know why they don't try the law and order trick. Ask for his extradition on the attempted murder of the other officer. Once back they charge him with the capital murder.
I believe that many issues in America will require similar civil political tactics to effect the necessary changes. The lawmakers that the country has elected have blind eyes and deaf ears toward their constituents.

Because then our word wouldn't be any good. Just quietly cap him and be done with it.
Yes, it's pretty disgusting that they won't extradite murderers back here unless we assure them we won't seek the death penalty (barbarians that we are). On the other hand, they are coming across the border en masse and we are supposed to welcome them with open arms.
The solution here is simple.
Put a million-dollar tax-free reward on his head, and pass the wanted poster around to mercenaries and Bounty Hunters.
Boycott France has really been effective, however, the MSM keeps it quiet. Seriously, as a landscaper, I have used Mexican workers for years...BUT NOT ANY MORE. Not even legal "green carders".
It is a sad day when a cop-killer can get away with murder - but that's where we are.
It is well past time to boycott Mexico.
