Article 1, Section 9 of the Constitution for the United States of America prohibits taxation of interstate commerce.

Yes, however that is an article and section that was valid loooong before the constitution achieved living and breathing status.

After all to some rules were meant to break.

I was going to bring that up. The states governments are interfering with and prohibiting free interstate commerce.
