Me too. The Republicans better be ready to address this nonsense.
It is nonsense but the dems and media have shown before they can take nothing and create scads of "news" stories for months on end. Nip it in the bud and call them on it and for the love of God, the Republicans should not act like the dems have some kind of understandable "concern" when it's clear they're acting again from pure partisan politics.
I think this is sarcasm! Maybe should have been labeled as such.
If there is an impeachement trial the Seante "Gang of 14" will offer a compromise verdict of resignation.
Thanks Morgan...I had to step away.
Your hatred of McCain and Graham and Lott is making you illogical. Let me assure you there is no way McCain will let this Iraq impeachment thing go forward. McCain is the most pro-war Senator in either party.
Republicans are good at giving Democrats enough rope to hang themselves, but not good at pulling the lever to actually do it. The Downing Street memo really is old news and has been debunked, but that's never stopped the left from trying to make it a current event. I have a hard time believing Kerry would do this because it's been so widely discredited and answered; and IF he does it he would further the concept of his being inept. I don't know where Kerry gets his news, but he appears to be behind by about a week or two all the time.
They don't need a Deep Throat. They can just claim they have one and spew all kinds of charges and venom. They will cite a confidential agreement that won't allow them to divulge his identity until Deep Throat II dies.
Also, www.impeachcentral.com. These people are nuts!!!
I wanted more....I wanted a public hanging of the commie....
So was his military record, but look what he tried to do with that. lol
I don't think that'll be enough - too many people will look at Kerry pushing it and think "sour grapes." They really need a RINO or three to offer support for an investigation, to make the call "bipartisan." Whether or not they get that remains to be seen. I hope the RINOs let this one go back to DU, but I'm just not sure.
Rats. I stand corrected.
Very true. About the RHINOs coming on board, I doubt it. Must my opintion.
So do I.
I thought Liddy did okay for the time he had which was so little he might as well not have been there.
Wallace intimated he was trying to "save" Liddy from making comments that might incriminate him in a future lawsuit.
Liddy says he won the lawsuit. (Dean sued him as you may recall) Wallace says, no, you really did not win) Liddy says he did.
Dean is a total creep. I remember the lawsuit thing, but cannot recall exactly what the outcome was. Liddy did not have to pay damages, I know that. It may have been dropped or tabled, does anyone recall?
Liddy is an interesting guy, but has lost much of his radio audience. We don't get him here at all (Dallas area)
He turns people off because of a few weird characteristics. I used to enjoy him. He would say, "I'm not allowed to own any weapons. However, Mrs. Liddy has 35 guns."
Apparently he did a fine job with his sons. I figure he'll discuss this interview on his show tomorrow, if anyone hears him anymore.
I have thought the same thing many times recently (about the Clinton impeachment)
He so obviously should have been convicted; the case was totally proved. And I was so disappointed at the time.
But now I realize that the Goreman would have become president and very possibly -- or even probably given the closeness of the race -- been re-elected and we would never have had GWB. What a tragedy that would have been.
Sometimes things happen for the best and we don't realize it at the time.
They have also set up a website, may be mentioned in one of the threads.
Very interesting post.
However, I do not believe the one line where you say,
"I have to say I told you so ...."
If they're thinking about it, we need to send them a few of the links to other groups at that After Downing Street site, to let them know just exactly who they're associating themselves with.
