"He has long since offended the fiscal conservatives," Ravenel said. "More recently he has offended the other Republican coalition - the social conservatives."

Those same social conservatives were instrumental in derailing Arizona Sen. John McCain's "straight talk express" bid for the presidency five years ago in South Carolina's GOP primary."

From reading the letters to the editor in my local paper in his district I would say he has won as many supporters who were straddling the party fence as he has lost. The letters are about 50/50. He's losing strict conservatives but gaining moderate Democrats.

Graham Lindsey is hitching his political career to McCain. McCain is on the wrong track to be president in 2008.

We all need to start rallying around a good Republican for president in 2008.

"For some people in politics it's not enough to agree with them on the issue, you have to hate the people they hate," he said. "I'm not going to be a hater. I'm going to be a solid conservative and a reformer."

Every voter in my state of South Carolina should read this quote from Senator Graham. This is what he thinks of us! What a condescending McCaniac waste of a good Senate seat. Like Ravenel said, we have a third Senator from NY.

And no Lindsey, I will not forget what you did. You betrayed me and my trust and have lost my vote forever. Unlike that dope quoted from Oconee, I do not care if you are my neighbor. I will vote for Thomas Ravenel in the primary. And if he does not run, I will vote for whoever is not you. And I will not be alone!!

He's got the best political instincts of anyone I have ever seen..

I love the way guys like Graham have some buddy that says this then someone else will until people believe it for some reason.

Graham is just another guy in politics that represents himself. I'm sick of the whole lot of them. We need to can everyone in Congress and just pick people off the street instead.

"He's got the best political instincts of anyone I have ever seen..."

Well, other than getting suckered by McCain to get involved in this filibuster fiasco and betrayal of the base, just when we had in reach what we've all been working our backsides off for the last 20+ years... yeah, great instincts, Lindsey.

So is this Ravenel guy a legitimate challenger in the primaries? I WILL send money to serious opponents of the Sellout Seven.

President Bush won 70 percent of the counties in the United States and people wanted his agenda moved forward."

The good people of the U.S. gave Bush a mandate, but the RINO's are too stupid to catch on.
They need to be fired asap , and a few good men need to take their place.

Politicians need to be held accountable for thumbing their noses at the people who feed them.

Graham should be drop-kicked by the Republicans. He's counting on time and the nature of people to forget. This is one incident I'll never forget.

Graham is someone I'll never support again, regardless of the race and regardless of who he's running against. We need to start making it painful enough to be a turncoat that people like Graham are afraid to turn on the President. The only way that will happen is if we start sending these RINOs home, for good.

I've posted this before, but I'd rather have a Demorat majority Senate, without ANY RINO's than a Republican Senate where you have RINO's, and are under the illusion
that you have a Conservative Senate, when you really don't.

How can these states keep on nominating RINO's, when they stab you in the back every time?

You can be independent on a lot of things but this is not one of them. Taxes and killing babies are 2 others.

The press is still trying to spin Graham a lifeline I take it?

Lindsey, I hate to break this to you, but the base has a long memory. Conservatives have a long memory. Let's just provide an example of what I mean.

Conservatives did not take to the streets in protests numbering in the millions when the Democrats repeatedly got in our face with the mantra "selected not elected". Most quietly went about their business for four years, and then Nov. 2nd silenced them with near 4 million votes over the Dem candidate in the popular vote.

Conservatives will silently fume about what you did the next four years. It will not always be above the surface but your actions will be remembered and we will bide our time. With the primaries come out there will be an explosion of activity that I'm certain will go unreported by the usual MSM lap dogs. Ravenal or whoever challenges you will receive the support of a national grassroots effort led by people that have patiently stewed about this Judas Pact for four years.

Working to our favor is your insistance you know better than the constituents that sent you to office, that their opinions do not count, that you will continue to side with McCain, that McCain will continue to be a thorn in our necks, that the RINO's will keep the outrage building, that you will push for policies that are NOT conservative such as raising our taxes...even IF people wanted to let the past go you and the RINO's will make it impossible. Just as the Dems made it impossible by working our base up far more than they worked their lunatics for four years.

The same state that defeated your beloved King in the Republican primary will defeat his sycophant.

So why does this sound like someone got a hold of Lindsey Graham's boyfriend..... or some similar scandal.... Or is he just another little Manchurian Candidate among the other Manchurian Candidates?

Hey BUTTHEAD, I thought you ran as a Republican? I look forward to your next appearance on the ballot and hope you get flushed from office!

What I want to know is:

Is the same sort of pressure being applied to Warner and DeWine?
