``What would Ted Williams think? Would he turn over in his freezer?'' Mary Clossey, a Newton mom of eight who has been a critic of gay-rights efforts, said of the Sox' decision to let three stars of the TV show ``Queer Eye for the Straight Guy'' throw out tomorrow's ceremonial first pitch. ``I'm tired of hearing about (homosexuality). Sunday is a family day at Fenway Park. Why would you want to do that on a Sunday?"

State Sen. Jarrett Barrios, an openly gay lawmaker who recently married his longtime partner, said people upset with the appearances need to ``just get over it.'' Perhaps G-d just needs to "get over it", as well, eh, sodomite?

I am not a Yankees fan...never was, never will be. But if you have signs et al for Pink Sox please associate them with the owners and management. If you avoid labelling Schilling and other players with the tag, you will probably have a large part of the state chanting with you. And THAT would be a treat!

Just some FRiendly advice: telling gay jokes means you're thinking about homosexuality, which is what they want you to do.
I'm thinking about homosexuality...thinking...thinking some more...yep, I've decided: we don't need it. Hope that's what "THEY" were expecting...

The real question is, can a bunch of fags do a better job of throwing out the first pitch, than John "Bounce to the Mound" Kerry. No. The real question is, Are they all pitchers...or are some of them catchers?

I heard Carson Kressley (the pink one) say on the radio that he wanted to have sex with Johnny Damon and be the "catcher".

Mary Clossey, a Newton mom of eight who has been a critic of gay-rights efforts,I'll bet she's the only person in Newton upset. Sheesh, their public schools spend more time teaching gay tolerance than they do reading.

Go Yankees. Yes: never has a fourth place team cost George so much money!

Not too long before his appearance, there was a Kerry rally in N.H. and signs read "Believe--Red Sox--Kerry"--Sox owners were there. GM Theo Epstein raved about the "scouting report" they had on Kerry.
Yes, had heard that moment played back on radio and it was noted what his reaction was.
