I'd like to know what "militia" we would be calling up? If you are talking about the National Guard, then yes. If you are talking about rag-tag militias, then no.

Could you please specify.

I've always assumed the militia is basically every able bodied male citizen. That's why we all have guns (or at least one of the reasons). Hmmm... in todays world, guess we'd better make that every able bodied citizen. Hmmmm... or maybe just every citizen.

The Militia is We The People. I joined the Militia in 1999 by the simple act of receiving my military discharge.

In all likelihood, you are part of the Militia.

Rag-Taggery is highly subjective :)
