"The Gamsakhurdia supporters stood outside Marriott Hotel chanting anti-Soros slogans. The protesters began hurling eggs shortly after Mr. Soros emerged from the hotel and got into the car. The protesters say that they are going to carry out similar actions wherever Mr. Soros show up. They believe that Mr. Soros is a mastermind behind Georgia's rose revolution which resulted in the installation of today"s leadership."

The reaction of those who know him best ...
It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
LOL. While I disagree with the protesters that their revolution was a bad thing, I do hope they nailed him a few times. Soros "richly" deserves it.
Yes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and George Soros richly deserved it.
Soros and the US State Dept. accomplished some positive things in the formerly Soviet republics. Both are suspect, especially of course Soros' networks operating here.
First mayo, now eggs. Some kind of Soros salad, nuts included.
Oh how I hope they were ROTTEN eggs. Really RANK, ROTTEN eggs.
"the enemy of my enemy is my friend"
The enemy of my enemy can be a useful ally at times, but I would never make the mistake of assuming friendship on that basis alone.
So says the oughtabe expert. The weakened dollar must be hurting him - else why would he care? Whatever, the eggs make me smile.
LOL!!!!!!!
Uh, I thought Soros wants communism. Oh, my mistake...he only wants it for US !
"Uh, I thought Soros wants communism."
Soros appears to be more of a "Third Way" socialist to me.
I hope the Arizona Republic knows which Georgia THIS time. Though it wouldn't really surprise me if they run the map of the one with Atlanta again.
They're such a bunch of idiots. And they keep wondering why their circulation is headed the way of the sewer.
Depends pretty much on how you define "friend". So, what was it the Romans said "hold your friends dear and your enemies dearer".
Yes, Let's Roll. And I'll bet that was their idea of treating the bastard kindly. The Georgians showed HUGE restraint.
"So, what was it the Romans said "hold your friends dear and your enemies dearer".
I'm more familiar with "keep your friends close and your enemies even closer." Same thought, keep your eye on them.
Yeah, that was terrific. Our government schools only produce the best. they may have geography wrong, but they sure know how they "feel" about map!
what's a "third way"?
I'm getting a little tired of his high oil prices, but at least he's giving the dollar a break these days.
"what's a "third way"?"
Sort of a hybrid. Google it... here's one link that offers a decent explanation:
