Possibly. The only way I can think of to pull that off would be to let him run wild through the 2006 elections, then blame him for the Dems getting crushed at the polls. Follow that up with a very public firing and enshrine a well-groomed 'moderate' on the DNC throne, and watch mainstream America over-correct right into your camp.

As you know, Mr. Peach is a poll manager here in SC as well and no one has ever waited over 1.5 hours to vote in the eight years he's managed various districts.
The only reason people had a wait at all in the last presidential election in our district is because a machine broke down and it took an hour or so to get a replacement.
