While discussing the hardship of working all day and then standing in line for eight hours to vote, Dean had said...

I have to agree, waiting in line eight hours to vote is a bit much. But how often, if at all, does this happen?

I've been a poll manager for years, first in Louisville, KY and now in Aiken, SC. And as a poll manager, wait time is very important to me. The longest I've ever known someone having to wait was an hour and 15 minutes.

Any other FReepers have info to add to this?

Your pic of Teddy Kennedy reminded me of something his son, Rhode Island Congressman Patrick Kennedy said a couple of years ago:

"I’ve never worked a (expletive deleted) day in my life."

Ah, the party of the working man.

Howard Dean is a mirror image of his hate-filled comrades in New England. Nothing more, nothing less.

I voted absentee. No lines. No waiting. Even got to have a snack and watch TV while voting.

Republican policies have declared war on hardworking Americans,"

What, like tax cuts?

Exactly what Republican policies is he talking about?

Only in the demented mind of left wing loons are these non existent policies

Yes, if Karl Rove couldn't get Dean the dream candidate in 2004, he got the next best thing.

Dean the DNC Chairman.
Dean's the gift that keeps on giving.

Now I have to STRONGLY disagree with this list of Democrats not working in their lives. Just off the top of my head:

John Kerry worked hard to trump up three purple hearts and get the hell out of dodge.

"Fat" Ted Kennedy worked hard to climb over "that woman" to get out of the car and swim to safety.

Bill Clinton worked "it" hard in the oval office.

And Robert Byrd, worked hard to get recruits into the KKK.

So I hope that dispels the idea that Democrats do not work hard. I know technically we are talking about an "honest" days work. But we are talking about Democrats after all.

They took a poll that told them the "Two Americas" class-warfare bit is fine, so expect to see more of it.

The DEMS saw $ signs in appointing DEAN but forgot to bring along some cents/sense in the process.

He is a financial and political disaster of huge proportions. The money is not pouring in and Dean is insulting yet another constiuency group each and every new day her serves.

I hope Rove has good retirement benefits to offer Howie because his work is top drawer. He is accomplishing what so few could have done to undermine the RATS from within.

Why he may even outshine our albatross --John MCPAIN.

Hey Dean..., you better not be talking about me.

You should turn your vitrol toward the P.O.S. that had the DNC chair job before you (Terry McAulif). He's the real crook, turning a $100,000 "investment" in Global Crossing into $16,000,000 - while my ~$3,000 vaporized into a black hole.

Didn't former CEO Gary Winick suck $600+ million before the bottom fell out? I thought so.

Dean, according to Terry McA - that's capitalism. Some win and some lose.

I call it white collar crime to the max. Both Winick and Terry McA should both be facing hard prison time a-la Ebbers, Rigas, Quatrone, etc.

I'm still ticked at Ashcroft's Justice deptartment for not pulling the trigger to take these crooks down.

That's my soapbox rant... please drive through.

And we thought Terry McAweful was God's gift to the Republican Party! Little did we know that He was planning an even more generous contribution with the Deaniac!

I don't know, but if I were Hillary - well, if I were Hillary first I'd stab myself in the head repeatedly with a pair of chopsticks until the pain went away - but after that I'd really wonder if some vast unseen force just wanted to keep jerking me around for the sheer fun of it.

Seems to me that Dean is a Hillary plant. After he makes an absolute fool of himself with his mindless rantings, Hillary can walz in and look,... oh so moderate and reasonable.

Nothing happens in government or politics without some rational planning of the impacts, and possible outcomes, both short term and long term. And the Clintons are nothing if not PR schemers and planners.
