They'll either find him guilty or not guilty, or there may be a hung jury.

That pretty much narrows it down. Hey, who is gonna play Michael in the movie about all this? OJ?

I believe he'll be found innocent of the conspiracy to imprison the family (not sure of official term); guilty of child molestation, and, guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor (by plying the kids with booze). The later charge seems to be a given.

...there may be a hung jury.

Don't tell the defendant the jury's hung, or we may have to go through this all over again!

The jury's hung? Isn't that a bit risqué to post on Free Republic?

The virdict will be guilty. It won't take long.

Or guilty on some counts, not guilty on some counts.

Two things: Michael, if convicted, will doubtless attempt suicide (not very hard), and fail, But his modus operandi so far has been to buy off troublesome kids and parents. Why not buy the jury? One hopes the cops are looking at their bank accounts, parents' bank accounts, same for their children, friends, purchases of land, etc. If the money passes through several hands after leaving Jackson's, it might be difficult to prove he bribed juror five and six, or whatever.

"They'll either find him guilty or not guilty, or there may be a hung jury."

There was amazing news analysis, scott7278. Did you ever work for CBS News? Though you are probably a little more intellectual and honest than they would want in an analyst.

or the judge may throw the verdict out if he doesn't like it or something (very very unlikely, but who knows with this trial).
