In Muslim areas there is a tradition of certain 'interesting' practices. For example (since you brought the Middle East into this) there are certain practices that are quite weird. For example in Afghanistan little boys are often targeted by older men. That is totally different from what I am talking about, the middle east is not Africa, and most of the infected in Africa are not muslim. Next non sequitur.

Not "Africa/Middle East," but "places where virginity is required of the girls." Specifically, my brother was in Saudi Arabia for an extended period of time, and his comments to me referred to Saudi Arabia. I opined that places where virginity is demanded may contribute to homosexuality. I don't have any numbers for HIV in Saudi Arabia and I don't know the correlation between the demand for virginity and AIDS in Africa. It varies from nation to nation and tribe to tribe.
