Jackson's spokesperson Raymone Bain said he had been advised by family friend and nutritionist Dick Gregory to go to the hospital to "get some electrolytes", which are used to treat cases of dehydration.
Bain said Jackson could not have been at hospital long. But local news reports, however, said the star needed an intravenous drip infusion to treat him for the stress of the trial.
Jackson has been rushed to hospital on two other occasions since the trial began, narrowly escaping arrest on one occasion after he turned up at court late of seeking treatment for back pain. 'Go to the hospital for some electrolytes?'
