Wow!
I'm a little worried about being "us" after yesterday's Supreme Court Decision.
I love old tunnels and caves. When I was at Columbia U. we used to explore the old coal bunkers that linked all of the original campus buildings. Some of them had grafitti left over from the 60's, others have been locked up since the 40's.
It's strange to think this country is getting old enough to have some techno-archaeological (just coined that word) sites.
Atta and the other hijackers began to work on appearing normal, shaving their beards and avoiding known radicals. Starting in 2000, the CIA placed Atta under surveillance in Germany. He was trailed by CIA agents, and was observed buying large quantities of chemicals. [5][6][7] When he entered the United States in June 3, 2000 the CIA says its surveillance of Atta ended. It is unclear whether the FBI or some other inteligence agency monitored Atta's activities in the U.S.

Found this in a google search:
"U.S. law enforcement officers also describe the Russians as being more prone to violence than the Italians or the Colombians. The Russians are more likely than any other criminal organization to murder a witness in a criminal court case or even to gun down a judge. The Russians think nothing of flying a hit man from Moscow to New York to carry out a contract murder and then jet home that very same day using another passport.
"While there is no evidence that Clinton, Gore or Talbott took bribes from the Russian mob, there is abundant evidence to show that they adopted the position that it was critical to maintain normal relations with Russia while ignoring wholesale and ever-increasing corruption in Russia and a crime wave rapidly proliferating around the world."

Terrorist Recon
In case you found it a stretch believing our terrorist enemies would seriously attempt to infiltrate our country by simply walking across our porous borders, this alarming story ought to put your doubts to rest once and for all.(snip)
