I love old tunnels and caves. When I was at Columbia U. we used to explore the old coal bunkers that linked all of the original campus buildings. Some of them had grafitti left over from the 60's, others have been locked up since the 40's.
It's strange to think this country is getting old enough to have some techno-archaeological (just coined that word) sites.
Too funny. I grew up exploring the interconnecting subterranean steam tunnels and abandoned attic spaces that connect most of the University of Illinois campus buildings at Urbana-Champaign.
