"What would you do if an ethnic minority (in this case Germans) enslaved Polish girls"

The Germans have their own state. They don't have to kidnap Polish girls.

"since the victims are Russian, I guess it's not a big deal."

You guess so? I don't.

You're obviously incapable of comparison analysis. Let's put it in simple terms. Poland is occupying historic German lands - they forced Germans out of the area after WWII. Chechnya was conquered after almost a century of fighting by Tsarist Russia. They have been a part of the Tsarist Empire, the Soviet Union, and the Russian Federation. Not one legitimate country has recognized "Ichkeriya's" independence. Chechens are Russian citizens, they hold Russian passports, they can vote, they can work, they can do what the hell they want as long as they do not break laws. What you have in Chechnya is akin to Gdansk rebelling and saying we want to rejoin Germany and/or become independent. Gdansk, I bet you'll say, is a Polish town. Therefore, you would probably want to see such an activity quashed. Imagine you sent troops into Gdansk and they fought to a stalemate. Then a popular Polish general negotiated a settlement that provided Gdansk with autonomy, but not independence. The Gdanskians agreed to it, then an upstart group funded by Germans decided to derail the agreement and blew up a couple of apartment buildings in Warsaw - what would you reaction be?

If you sent in troops to quash it and Gdansk terrorists started blowing up various civilian centers in Warsaw you would want Gdansk brought under control no matter how viciously it had to be done.

Comparing Chechens to American Indians is also a faulty analogy.
