Well, the German, British, French journalists obtain permission prior to filming - if they haven't they'd be detained and expelled from the region.

But they can't obtain permission to film in Chechnya.
Chechnya is a forgotten GENOCIDE. In 20 years people will be talking and writing about Chechnya in the same way they are talking and writing about Cambodia today. I really can't believe there are honest people in America who support Russian terror against Chechens and at the same time claim to be Christians and conservatives!

The problem is, that they had a permission for 21 days, and were detained regardless of that.
