I dont think you are correct. Jerusalem is not even in the Koran. it is a Jewish City, built By jews, and Islam came along 600 years after Jesus was Crucified there. They Put up a mosque on the jewish Temple Foundations and have been lying about it's Importance ever since.

The physical Jerusalem certainly belongs to the Jews. But it is irrelevant to the end times because: Revelation 12:17 "...and the dragon was enraged with the woman and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God AND have the testimony of Jesus Christ".
