Iran successfuly tests 2000-km range ballistic missile

Iran has tested a new missile using solid-fuel technology that matches the more than 2,000-kilometer range of its Shihab-3 rocket, Agence France Presse quoted the Islamic republic's defense minister as saying Tuesday.

Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani said the test, carried out on Sunday, was "100 percent successful."

And class, where does Iran get its weapons technologies from? That's right, Russia, China, and North Korea.

The first two are "friends" of the United States.

We sure do have some nifty "friends" - they arm our enemies to the teeth while we stand back and quietly ask if they'd mind not giving ballistic missile technology to people who want to kill us. I say we start selling Bradleys to Chechen rebels and give Aegis cruisers and PAC-3s to Taiwan. (ok, not really, but tell me it wouldn't be the same damn thing)
