The split has also been happening within the RC church. Again, there are liberal RC and EPIS churches and CONSERVATIVE ones. Then there are the hookworm liberal ones scattered in the middle between these two. Did you know... the liberal RC has been involved with Amnesty International for overlong?

There is some truth to this. But the Catholic Church is not nearly as bad as the ECUSA. We have our share of liberal wienies in the clergy and even bishops. But we also have an unimpeachably orthodox guy at the top. B-16 is not gonna put up with a lot of nonsense. I think it would be an awesome trade if we could ship all our liberal wing nuts to the ECUSA and they would point their orthodox Christians over in our direction. In the meantime I wish all of my Christian brothers and sisters in Texas the best.

I guess it depends on your issue. In CA, during Prop 187 (illegal immigration reform) I came across a hot bed of nuns in the Santa Rosa area who'd been "under the table" getting green cards for illegals. That royally peeved me. And then meeting another group of RC nuns in the south Bay who worked and worshipped at the alter of a feminist and also Amnesty International. I found this to be very offensive.

Nonetheless what you say about ECUSA is very true. And part of the reason it all remains a mess is because ECUSA is very mushy about what their real agenda is; therefore, many parishioners are very unclear about what is going on underfoot in the ECUSA and "part ECUSA/Part Not-ECUSA" churches they attend.

At least the RC nuns got in my face directly with what they believe and what they support. You got a point, jeclny.
