That is just a bunch of BS. And you can stop talking down to me, Perfesser. Obviously any real science can be proven. We know that electricity works because we have actual inventions that harness it and prove that it works repeatedly. We know that the atom exists because we've split it. We don't know that evolution is true because we have seen NO PROOF of it. Proof is very simple and only exists in one of two ways. You can either re-produce a physical result or you predict a result. A theory ceases to be a theory once you can predict (consistently, not once, of course) results based on it, or re-produce physical experiments from it. So please, come off the high horse. Evolution for most of you folks is merely a substitute for a religious belief. That's fine with me, but don't tell me about the proof as THERE IS NONE. Maybe if our species continues to exist for a sufficient length of time, there will be proof, but right now, it's just part of a belief system.

Obviously any real science can be proven.

No, it can't. The best science can do is conclude that our current understanding of a certain phenomenon has not been disproven.

Gotta chime in here - as you just don't get it (or don't want to). No, by definitinion, a "theory" cannot be proved. Were it "proved" it would cease to be a theory. Evolution is a "theory" that 99.9% of all evidence collected so far, fits with the theory.
The best analogy I know of is that of Gravity. Do you believe in gravity?? I would bet "yes". Do we know WHAT causes gravity? - No, Do we know WHY there is gravity? No. Do we know where gravity came from?? ...no. We are CLUELESS. However, gravity does seem to exist and we can predict it's effects, it's strenghth, and when it will occur - all due to the physics of "Gravitational THEORY". It is a THEORY which all of the facts SEEM to support.
Same thing for evolution.
Next, I despise "why doesn't a fish turn into a baboon" statements. They are childish, simple and insipid and show the feeble mentality of the speaker. Finally, you flat-earthers do not comprehend the amount of time involved in "600 million years". Just to give you some perspective. 600,000,000 years is 300,000 times longer than the amount of time since Christ was on this planet.

"We know that electricity works because we have actual inventions that harness it and prove that it works repeatedly."

We know evolution works because we have actually used it in everything from microbiology, to bacteriology, to computer science, to electrical engineering and many others I'm too lazy to look up.

"A theory ceases to be a theory once you can predict (consistently, not once, of course) results based on it, or re-produce physical experiments from it"

And then what does it become?

Do the scientists know this?
