If only they'd taped vertically--invisibly--along the edge of the door, rather than horizontally,
around the edge of the door, where it became visible. Or **gasp** just used transparent tape.
Also, what's with the walkie-talkies? No earpieces? I know darn well they had Radio Shack in 1972. What a strange omission.
