Show me the jobs Americans are "unwilling to do."

I've recently built a home here in North Texas, and not a single Spanish-speaker worked on it - all were Americans.

I get my grass mowed, and it's an English-speaking American that does it.

Guy that comes and picks up the garbage once a week is an American.

What else is there? Besides lame excuses, that is.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Hispanics represent nearly 30 percent of construction laborers. That national figure often jumps higher on the job. "Eighty percent of our construction force are Spanish speakers," says Ricardo Gonzalez, a superintendent with Shea Homes in San Diego.

People of hispanic background who want to work find jobs in building trades, home services, landscaping, cleaning, child care, food service, etc.

They want to work and homeowners or business owners want to hire them. Some, if not many of them, are undocumented, or here illegally. Any children born to them here are Americans.
