Several dozen supporters of Georgia's ex-president Zviad Gamsakhurdia have thrown eggs at a car in which visiting U.S. businessman and philanthropist, Hungarian-born billionaire George Soros was traveling, Interfax news agency reported.
The incident took place on Monday after Soros walked out of the Marriott hotel in downtown Tbilisi and got into his car. Gamsakhurdia's supporters, who were chanting slogans criticizing Soros, began throwing eggs at the departing car.
The protestors accused Soros of involvement in the "Rose revolution" in 2003, which helped Georgia's current authorities, including the President Mikhail Saakashvili, come to power. They promised to hold more actions.
Soros, who arrived in Tbilisi on Saturday, is meeting Saakashvili at the moment.
Before the beginning of his visit Georgian opposition Labor Party Leader Shalva Natelashvili said his supporters had prepared a "surprise" for Soros, more "civilized", "refined", "unexpected, but quite unpleasant", than "throwing eggs".
The Laborites, however, have not kept their promise yet.
Soros, the head of the Development Foundation in his name, has been actively supporting democratic movements in Eastern Europe and his foundation has succeeded in precipitating changes in Serbia, Georgia and Ukraine. Several post-Soviet states have even declared him persona non grata.
The United States should follow their example!
So....I'm guessing we support them on this, no matter what?
World's most hated man? Will we see a word of this in the MSM?
That was a rhetorical question!
Yeah, when it comes to Soros I really don't give a damn why somebody dislikes him, I'm going to cheer.
What a waste of good eggs.
The "Agent of Chaos Soros" should himself be scrambled in a big pan and consumed by some dark, malevolent force.
I saw that title and thought; "Soros had an egg and it was bombed in Georgia? I didn't even know that he could lay an egg."
...and then I remembered Kerry.
"...and then I remembered Kerry."
LOL! TOO TRUE!
The guy doesn't even seem to keep track of what he is for or against.
This is the same nut who liked President Regan and now hates Bush, and for the exact same reasons.
He is anti free market, but anti communist, if anyone has followed this guys life its pretty clear that in 5 years, he'll be moving on to something else.
Interestingly, his "Open Society Institute" doesn't even have a coherent and consistant ideology, over here is marxist, overseas, its free market, in some parts of the world, its got one set of aims and in other parts of the world, different aims.
He'll probably get back into his pro weed phase soon enough.
I initially thought this happened in my home state and was immediately;
a. Proud of my fellow Georgians for showing such good taste, but...
b. Couldn't believe my creep radar hadn't alerted me to the creepy presence of Soros.
Now that I read the article, I'm less excited but still hope they scored direct hits on this creep.
We gotta send them more eggs!
Too bad they werent throwing hand grenades.
Soros is such a sorry sap, you'd think he'd get the hint.
rocks and molotov cocktails would have been much more appropriate

I hear that the "Open Society Institute" meetings are held behind closed doors, away from the general public.
Dog crap comes in handy as well.
They are consistent. They are for democratic socialism: a highly regulated economy and social caste system but absolute personal liberties so that the populace is too busy wigging out or copulating to notice that they have lost all of their other freedoms.
U.S. businessman and philanthropist, Hungarian-born billionaire George SorosAnd, LOSER, from punditcafe.blogs.com:
I believe there is a method to his madness, and it is madness. Every country has their own ideologies in place, which requires him to make adjustments in his pursuit of the end goal. However, IMO, there is a coherent and consistent ideology on his part and it is very frightening.
