Yes but it is not a national holiday. We commemorate our fallen on 11th November, Remembrance Day, there is a service at the Royal Albert Hall on the Saturday and on Sunday poppy wreaths are laid all over the country and the world. This started at the end of the great war (1914-18 war - First World War). Both myself and Gretchen have spoken about this special day which I believe you call Veterans Day earlier on this thread.
