Ping me please.
Before I got to the bottom, I was thinking, "Hey in Canada, they treat the Jews like they treat Christians in American."

Shouldn't bigotry against Christians be just as unacceptable as bigotry against Jews? Yep- I've watched this brewing for some time:

Thank you for the reply.
This article, along with David Warrens recent article on the "Zimbabwefication" of Canada certainly points to real trouble with democracy in the Commonwealth.
Is there any chance Canada will ever become a republic, with a transparent government, with checks and balances?
IMO, no.
Canada is hooped.
I can tell because the Queen spoke French on her recent visit to Regina.:0)

Everyone MUST boycott the Globe and Mail after that obscene article. On social issues, they are left of the Toronto Star now (although not on economic issues).
To: Heartofsong83
Analysis as to the ideological leanings of Toronto's 4 daily news papers as I sees it:
National Post: mostly conservative leaning and occasionally even somewhat socially conservative.
Toronto Sun: always conservative on law and order issues and usually on fiscal ones. Never, ever socially conservative and quite capable of the grossest liberal social excesses. Overall: the voice of red-Toryism (CINOism).
Globe and Mail*: somewhat fiscally conservative but overall the voice of the Martinite and gay wings of the Liberal Party. On social issues, way out in left field!
Toronto (red) Star: Hard left. Voice of Trudeauite (Chretien) and radical feminist wings of the Liberal party. Often actually NDP (like Trudeau himself!) but only between elections!
* IMHO, far and away the most actively dishonest paper in the nation!

How can that be? They are a house organ of the Ministry of Truth.
Citizen Jimmy - be careful that you don't get reported to a militant faction of the Canadian Values Coalition and re-educated in a Medicare camp, er - clinic.
Drink the Koolaid deeply and you'll learn to revere Tommy Douglas and Pierre Trudeau and a Oppressed Woman of Colour to be named later, just like all good Canadians.

An amazing article! I was really steaming at those antisemites! Then, the last sentences! But we already knew this....Catholics say the liberal/lefties are anti-Catholic; evangelicals get miffed at the liberal/left's sneering at us.
The truth is, what the liberal/lefties hate is that the Bible is the revealed Word of God and that Jews and Christians look to the Bible for knowing what is right and wrong; that God's laws are righteous, that they are the standard by which humanity has to measure our morals and ethics.
The liberal/lefties like making up their own personal standard, doing whatever feels good or right to them, much easier and more fun, they think.

The Globe and Mail and the Toronto star are the ultimate in Liberal reporting and Conservative fear mongering. But Liberals and Conservatives at least know that they are different in the way we respond. Liberals Whine Conservatives get even.
A case in point.......
Are you a Liberal or Conservative
Here is a little test that will help you decide.
The answer can be found by posing the following question:
You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, an Islamic Terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises Allah, raises the knife, and charges. You are carrying an S&W 10MM, and you are
an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.
What do you do?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Liberal's Answer:
Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this
situation? Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it? Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me? If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was
stabbing me? Should I call 9-1-1? Why is this street so deserted? We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior. This is all so confusing! ! I need to debate this with some friends for few days and try
to come to a consensus.
Conservatives Answer:
BANG!
