The Talk Shows
Sunday, May 29th, 2005
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Richard Myers; Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Former Sens. Sam Nunn and Fred Thompson; Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind.; 9/11 Commission Chairman Thomas Kean; 9/11 Commission Vice Chairman Lee Hamilton.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Richard Myers; Rep. Tom Davis, R-Va.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sens. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., and Sam Brownback, R-Kan.; Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas; Indy 500 driver Danica Patrick.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.; Dr. Abdullah Abdulla, Afghanistan foreign affairs minister; Gen. John Abizaid, head of the U.S. Central Command, Baghdad.
Thanks for the reminder. As far as I'm concerned, even though there are foreign drivers, the Indy 500 is a far greater All-American Institution than Marxist TV.
Watching RATs and RINOs "pamby-pamby" it out, only to be interrupted by way too many commercials is only annoying.
I'd much sooner watch drivers going around in circle at over 200 MPH instead of a bunch of lying weasels spinning their wheels and driving us into the ditch.
I've found that the posts on this weekly thread are ofter even better than watching it live and "tuning in" here is a good way to catch the programs later if you can't catch the TV programs. For instance, I always watch FOX, sometimes watch Russert and Woofie, but never watch Georgie Porgie Steponallofus.
He's a good man. While I am eternally grateful for his 40 years of service, I'll regret seeing him leave.
Good morning! I think I'm still reeling from "Doctor" Juan Williams. I hope Brit shows little Juan the respect he deserves as Brit smacks Juan down.
Here comes Chris Dodd on FNS. Expecting several minutes of insanity...
Had to move away from FNC this morning after about 30 seconds.....CNN was a much better choice.
Hey snugs,
If you hear anything on the French election, I hope you'll post it. Great day if they reject their new constitution.
I expect nothing more than propaganda from Dodd, but one can hope. Thanks!
I can get FTP and FNS later on but this thread is great fun plus informative and lets me know if it is worth watching the shows later probably will not today as it is one of our soccer play-off games this afternoon.
Earlier heard the requisite hilary has the best health care plan callers.
A witchunt is what you can continue to call this.
I missed that in my original post, thanks AB.
Hard to keep up with Dodd, he talks so fast and dodges so effortlessly. Wallace is doing a pretty good job trying to hold him down to specifics, but it's a little like one man trying to hold down the Snoopy baloon at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade...
Dodd has not answered Wallace's question: Why do you want the names?
HI snugs, got that ribbon ready today?
We're tuned in to Sponge Bob Square Pants. Much more entertaining, and likely as educational and informative as Fox 'n' Friends.
Thanks. Dodd lies. The issue is not the names but their wanting to stop Bush appointments. It's all politics and he's playing the game.
