Most if not all of these people are behind bars, turned in and prosecuted by thier own "Republican Right Wing, Bible Thumping Kind"...whereas this lad would like to see all these crimes turned into everyday living.

I see some exaggerations in the story, but there is some truth to it all.

I've seen many examples of Republicans making bad decisions all affecting all of us to keep a handful of idiots happy. The Democrats do the same, so we are all screwed.

I have a feeling we're all going to be very quiet regarding this story.

I have a feeling “we” are about to vanish from this forum.

Any group of people, if large enough, will have some crackpots, crazies, & kooks within it.

The writer of this nasty little slur seems to imply that the bizzare specimens he cited are typical of the broader base, and nothing could be further from the truth.

This guy digs up a half dozen Republican reprobates and we're all supposed to hang our heads in shame?

It would be difficult to do a similar piece on the Dems, since they usually aren't ID'd as democrats when arrested.

"According to the Boston Globe, Massachusetts has the nation’s lowest divorce rate at 2.4 divorces annually per 1,000 residents."

"Statistics" can be made to lie, and as I am sure you are well aware. In order to see if the quoted statistic is valid, you would also need to know how many "couples" in Mass live together without being married. I read a few months ago that only 6% of the people in Mass consider themselves "born again." So it seems that there would be more people just living together rather than being legally married. So, yes, there may be less legal divorce in Mass, but how much "splitting up" is there?

Two directions are options for one's moral character: Improve or Degenerate.

You can acknowlege the imperfections in yourself and others, but promote an idealized goal.

Or you can decide that since perfect is not an option, I'm going to get reaaaal dirty.

The former is called a hypocrit these days. The latter, a considerate liberal.

Hager’s complaint has nothing to do with product safety, however, which is the charge of his committee, but with his belief that the Plan B pill is an abortifacant, since it prevents a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus (Breast feeding, by the way, has the same effect on a woman’s body, usually preventing pregnancy as long as feeding continues).

Liar, liar. Breastfeeding prevents ovulation, not implantation.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Some folks find it harder to control their impulses than others. It's still an abomination.

Hypocrisy is the one unforgiveable sin of leftism.

In fact, it's a social lubricant, and as Oscar Wilde had it, "the homage that vice pays to virtue".

Well, interesting. The Republican party, like any large national party, contains literally thousands of public figures.

I wonder however, if we were to do a serious study of conviction rates of public figures for both the Demo and Repub parties, what would the COMPARISON be? I have the feeling (no proof at this point but a feeling) that the Demo party would have significantly more criminals.

Of course, they are LESS subject to charges of hypocrisy. You can only be a hypocrite if you actually stand for something - which the Demonicrats don't.

The difference between Christians and non-Christians is that Christians are ashamed of their sin and don't defend their actions, but instead try to fix their lives. Non-Christians do not feel any shame about the sins that Christians tell them about. They instead want acceptance for their sin and try to defend it by smothering the voices of the people who call them on it. Their best strategy to do so is to mention Christians' sin and call them hypocrites.

Christians and like-minded people should just accept the criticism and say that we should all improve our lives. Most important, they should continue to speak up.

Is the point that teaching and insisting on moral sexual behavior is wrong because some folks are immoral? Interesting premise.

There must be something about the liberal mind and logic that cannot coexist.

I believe if I could spend all my days hating the Democrat party and looking all around the country for weird sexual rites off Democrats I could match this guy head to head with sexual aberrations performed by democrats. Dick Morris and his toe sucking comes immediatelt to mind, along with aPresident who spent his time getting head jobs. and a First lady carpet muncher. How about a pardon for Marc Rich after his wife services the President. or a Killer from mass, who drowned his girlfriend. or perhaps a Congressman from Mass. who ran a homosexual prostitute busineess from his basement. Now I havent spent a great deal of time searching for these cases , they are right off the top of my head. Yes: I am sure with a little time and surrounded by other Republican bashers who felt the same way I could match his story and raise him a few.

Well, if all these people were Democrats, they would be celebrated for bringing "diversity" to the party.
