As Memorial Day approaches, Socialist Democrats pretend to support our troops while opposing the wars they fight and instead supporting the dictators and mass murderers our troops risk their lives to defeat.
Here is an email message from the Democratic National Committee, signed with Howard Dean's name, soliciting support for a Democrat outreach effort to dupe our troops into voting for these Socialist Democrats. What chutzpah!
From: Howard Dean
To: [Recipient]
Subject: Memorial Day Salute to Veterans and Military Families
Date: May 26, 2005 3:00 PM
Governor Howard Dean
Dear [Recipient],
On Memorial Day we honor those who have sacrificed in service to our country. With troops on the ground right now, and more lives and families transformed by the experience every day, this Memorial Day has an especially powerful urgency.
Democrats believe that honoring the service of our troops and the sacrifices of their families cannot focus only on the past. Since taking office as chairman, I have worked with many of you on a DNC Veterans and Military Families outreach project to reinforce our shared commitment that active service members, veterans and military families have their voices heard in our party.
This is your party -- and you will be the key to this unprecedented effort as it comes together in the weeks ahead. You can join the outreach project here:
http://www..democrats.org/veterans [ real link: http://www.democrats.org/milvet/action/200505260001.html ]
As a first step in your personal outreach to veterans and military families, I encourage you to take part in a permanent, living memorial to our veterans -- the Library of Congress Veterans History Project. The project has collected over 33,000 oral histories and an archive of memorabilia from World War I through the current conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.
If you served and would like to participate, or if a relative or neighbor served and you would like to conduct an interview and help tell his or her story, please visit the project's web site to get started:
http://www..loc.gov/vets/
The Democratic Party is committed to honoring our service members, veterans and military families -- with public policy that supports their work and eases their burdens, and with personal gratitude for the sacrifice of so many. We join with all Americans in saluting their courage and patriotism.
Thank you.

It appears that the only thing the socialist Democrats support about our troops is they support denying them their right to vote in elections.
We saw the Democrats in action during the 2000 presidential election when their lawyers (i.e., hired guns) tried using technicallities and specious arguments to challenge military ballots to prevent them from being counted. The Democrats operate on the belief that voters have a short memory and the print and broadcast news organizations will provide cover for them. However, talk radio and the internet has repeatedly blown their cover.
These Socialist Democrats have a long history of being anti-military, anti-defense, anti-gun, anti-police, pro-criminal, pro-terrorist, and pro-dictator.
They love dictators and terrorists including Fidel Castro and Yasir Arafat (BIH - Burn In Hell), and hate freedom fighters and liberators including Presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.
And they expect our troops to vote for them ?!?!?
Real military families don't vote Democrat!

After all the dictators are removed.
After all the communists are gone
After all the terrorists are killed
Only one enemy will remain
The Democrat Party.
Individual Americans must be the foot soldiers in the final war of liberation and march to the voting booths every 2 years!

Hah! Dean does kind of remind me of some sort of virulent incurable plague. He definitely speaks for a lot of the low-class scum that pass for "Democrats" these days, though. Every so often someone posts something especially vile from DU, just to remind us of what we're up against.

I figured as much but it still makes little sense to me.
I heard Al Sharpton referred to as "Former Presidential candidate..." yesterday. When was he ever a candidate? Sure he ran for the democratic nomination, but didn't even get that. Al Sharpton is "failed democratic Presidential hopeful". Howard Dean should be titled "Former Governor and current Jack-ass Howard Dean"

"Governor" Howard Dean? He isn't a governor anymore.
I hear you, it's sickening. Same thing with Clinton, all I hear on the news lately, is President Clinton this and President Clinton that, not FORMER President, and then to add insult to injury in the same breath they refer to President Bush as 'Bush'.
As far as whatever FORMER Governor Dean has to say, who gives a royal crap, he's nothing more than a whackjob.

Until the 9-11 terrorist attack, the "Democratic" party officials and activists, including feminist attorney and then KABC talk radio host Gloria Alred, referred to President Bush as "President Select" Bush, to reinforce their propoganda that the Republicans and Supreme Court stole the election which in fact the Democrats unsuccessfully tried to steal, and as "Resident Bush" implying that he was not legitimately elected.
The Democrats stopped their hateful and UNDEMOCRATIC rhetoric after then 9-11 terrorist attack because they knew it would become too obvious that they were undermining our nation, our national security, and our personal and public safety.
The Democrats delayed certification of the 2000 presidential election results, delayed President Bush's transition team, and diverted White House and federal government resources and attention away from protecting our nation. The Democrats created a division rather than unity in our nation and presented this to the rest of the world, creating a perception of weakness and vulnerability to terrorists throughout the world.
The Democrats promoted hatred of President Bush and the Republican majority government in the U.S. and throughout the world, then had the chutzpah to cite that hatred as evidence that the voters should take political power away from President Bush and the Republicans and give it to the Democrats!
What chutzpah!

It may be sickening to refer to Bill Clinton as President Bill Clinton.
However, it is even more sickening to refer to the undemocratic party as the "Democratic" party, which no longer applies since the Socialist and Communist Democrats have hijacked their party.
Sometimes accepted language usage and protocol result in misrepresentation rather than clarity, as when "Democratic" is used in a name. We see a similar situation when communist dictatorships refer to their government as "Democratic People's Republic of ..." (source: CIA World Fact Book, http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/index.html).
- Communist Dictatorship of North Korea:
Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)
- Communist Dictatorship of former East Germany:
German Democratic Republic
- Communist Dictatorship of Cuba:
Republic of Cuba
- Dictatorship of the Congo:
Democratic Republic of the Congo
- Communist Dictatorship of the former Soviet Union:
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (U.S.S.R.)
It has been said that the name of the U.S.S.R. is four lies built into one name.
Note that "soviets" are legislative councils, which existed in the U.S.S.R. but had no power and were not real legislative bodies in the sense of representative government.
- Dictator, mass murderer, and genocide perpetrator Adolf Hitler's NAZI party:
National Socialist German Workers' Party
Founded in Germany in 1919 and brought to power in 1933 under Adolf Hitler, resulting in the mass murder of six million Jews and many more millions of innocent civilians and Allied troops.
Why do I believe that the "Democratic" party is undemocratic?
Because they oppose true democratic principles and government and support Communist and Socialist Dictatorships and mass murderers around the world and strive to create one in the U.S.
They undermine our election system by actually stealing and trying to steal elections. They actually stole, through election fraud, California's 36 congressional district in 1994 - Susan Brooks (R) vs. Jane Harman (D). They tried very hard but were unsuccessful in stealing the 2000 presidential election.
They ignore and try to destroy the Constitution through judicial activism, violating our basic principals of democracy and constitutional self-government.
They only support freedom of speech if you agree with them, and try to deny your freedom of speech if you dare to think independently and disagree with them.
There are many more examples that could be included here if it were more directly on topic.
The Democratic party's actions speak louder than their words.
Their words are damning, and there actions are even more damning.
