He's just the little dealmaker these days, huh?

FRist needs to have a little chat with John and in no uncertain terms, set him straight.

Once again McCain sides with the Dims. I almost can't stand to hear his name anymore. A man I once admired and respected. This is sickening.

Judas McCain again trying to give the Democrats everything they want.

When the prospect of a filibuster was first broached at a lunchtime meeting on Tuesday, senior Democratic officials said, Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware and two others found little appetite for the idea. Fellow Democrats dismissed the move as being at odds with the spirit of the Monday night agreement on judicial nominations. - DOUGLAS JEHL and CARL HULSE, New York Times reporters

Carrying the water as usual for the Democrats, this admission by the NYT that the move not only "quacks like a filibuster" but is one, comes toward the bottom of the piece and is carefully couched.

While I will say at least McCain supports Bolton for a vote, I have just about had enough of that POS urging deals like this.

Sit in your corner and shut the heck up.

The Dems agreed to some restraint on judicial appointments--not anything else.

The Dems are on a fishing trip, but won't vote for Boloton no matter WJAT!

They and the MSM have screamed and screamed about the supposed "outing" of Valerie Plame, when EVERYONE knew about her and her husband had blabbed ( OUTED !) her anyway. The names of COVERT agents, in the highly SECRET docs the damned Dems and Voiny are demanding to see, have less than nothing at all to do with their votes on Bolton. And dollars to donuts, they'd OUT the for REAL covert/in DEEP COVER agents. WHY? Because they are pro-Castro and want relations with Castro and Cuba to be put back 40+ years.

Another "compromise"...gee, Senator, didn't you just do that? It worked less than 48 hours. Only 3 out of 7 Dems voted for cloture.

Why the hell do we keep giving in. Every time we give a little these pinko libs want more. This is ridiculous already. Mccain is to high on his own hype to realize the damage he is doing. There is absolutely no need for this.

Another accord, John?

The play for the Presidency is getting a little too obvious. I'm not buying it.

I wish McCain were as forceful with his support for Bolton as he is about Republicans who "misbehave" in his eyes. He always seems to be going to bat for the Dims when some Republican says something critical. Yet when Republicans are called Nazis and such, he does that silly closed-mouth laughing of his and says it's all just rough and tumble politics.

McCain supports Bolton, but he's not DOING anything about it. Why doesn't he stand up and say "Look, I brokered an agreement, now let's see my Democratic friends step up and support this fine choice" instead of this BS about files no one cares about.

Maybe I'm cynical, but I am imagining a "compromise" in which a somber McCain holds that little microphone in the Senate and "regrettably" asks for the President to withdraw the Bolton nomination?

How about doing SOMETHING for YOUR party, John?

So, now, having taken over chairmanship of the judiciary committee, John McCain is taking over chairmanship of the Foreign Relations committee.

Maybe we should email those committee chairmen and ask them to TAKE BACK THEIR COMMITTEES.

Based on the Senate's track record regarding keeping a secret, it would be better for the country's defense to publish highly classified on Free Republic and telling the Senators to just read the appropriate thread.

Since liberals don't come here, that means the secrets would never be published in the New York Times or Washington Post.

The Repubican Senate is a JOKE. Frist is a JOKE. George (Islam is a religion of peace) Bush is close to becoming a president equal to his incompetent father. And we Americans are the brunt of it. We have a Congress a Supreme Court that is more interested in how we treat Muslims or Mexicans that their taxpayers. What we true Americans MUST do is become more vocal / ACTIVE than the opposition. If we sit back & allow any more of this action by the leftist we will seal our fate as a lost society. OUR WINDOW OF ACTION IS MEASURED IN MONTHS. Liberty comes with a price. Have you all had enough of this BS by our elected officials & are we ready to kick some butt.
