NO-O-O. We need the DemocRATS to continue to obstruct. That way they pay a price in the next election. People forget too quickly. A recess appointment is only good for a year anyway and we have to go through this all over again. The later in the term, the more lame duck. Gotta let this fight continue. Let 'em go on and on. The Republicans look strong and the RATS look desperate. A recess appointment is an easy way out for the RATS.

As I said in another thread, leak out a story that W is going to do a recess appointment during the 4th of July recess, of someone, anyone besides Bolton that would make the Dem's puke. Rummy, Rove, someone else, as long is it is someone that would make the rumor believable. Bolton is going to be put into reserve to replace them in '06, when this recess appointment times out.

If it is someone that would also scare the bejeebers outta the RINO's, all the better. I wanna see a race to see who can get the Bolton confirmation done first.

Exactly. A clear lesson in the limits of their power to obstruct. Bush recessed Pryor and now he's headed for a permanent slot. If you recall, some RINO Senators at that time predicted it would make RATs madder when Pryor came round for the next round. Nope. The RATs are just like the Muslims, they respect one thing and one thing only...the brutal application of force, with no compromises.

By standing in the shadows, Bush is only emboldening the McCains of the Senate to fill the vacuum with RINO wussiness. His father took the same tack with George Mitchell, to a disastrous end. If Bush took off the gloves with the RATs and RINO traitors alike, he would be amazed how quickly their opposition would evaporate.
