While European negotiators focus on Iran's development of enriched plutonium, U.S. intelligence officials say Tehran already has completed all of the elements required for an atomic bomb.
The news has stunned President Bush, according to Geostrategy Direct, an intelligence news service led by national security reporter Bill Gertz of the Washington Times.
"It's an incredible piece of intelligence that overshadows everything we thought we knew on Iran's nuclear program," one U.S. intelligence source said.

Israel and Saudi Arabia are already under Iranian nuclear threat. Oh,oh.

Wonder how the new "moderate" majority (45 rats and seven rinorats) will decide the country should face this potential threat.
I expect the nation will need to see a nuclear ignition on US territory before any actual popular attention is paid.
The current government has the Republic full up of south/Central American illegals, with thousands in the pipeline now towards our nearly open boarders; why would nuclear arms threatening US forces already surrounded by 400,000,000 (four hundred million) hostile people matter...?
In fact, the day there is verifiable information that our forces in Iraq are under the threat of nuclear weapons we will begin to withdraw forces. Our carrier groups will likewise withdraw, out of simple common sense.
"everyone" will "agree" that this is the prudent course of action. Then the gulf of Oman will be closed to any US bound tankers, and our new "moderate" majority will have to decide our fate. They will capitulate if given the power, something they have in abundance (in the msm) lately.

Hmm...I'm not so sure if I believe that the president was "stunned".
I certainly wasn't.
