To: Bush gal in LA

he did with a judicial nominee i think.

with the UN ambasador i think there would be too much screaming about it and that hurts an ambasador's credibility plus i think it is only good until the end of the year. i don't know the specifics.

I think your right , about the credibility thing. And yes its only a 2 year time limit. But I'm so mad about the stupid ''compromise deal'' I wish the President would just take his pen out today and put all the judges on the bench and appoint Bolten and then see how the RATS like it!!!.........Guess I wouldn't make a very good politition!

Bush recess appointed both Pryor and Pickering. A recess appointment is much more effective with the UN post as it is not a life time post. It is a big deal that a recess judicial appointment expires when this session of Congress expires. It is less important that Boltons recess appointment would expire particularly if Bush made him acting and then recess appointed him a second time. The Dims deserve this treatment for not keeping their word.
