Isn't the sick guy currently just king in name only since his stroke? His brother has been running the place for the last view years.

I'm trying to understand this. The King is very old and has been in ill health for a long time. It is not surprising that he is hospitalized. His son has been in charge for a long time now so I don't get why this would precipitate an alert. I'm sure I'm missing something.

Obviously the Saudi's believe the death of the "king" will cause pandamoniam in the streets. It's not a stretch to say some Saudi's will blame the US for his death. And we all know how much Saudi's love the good USA.

Perhaps because this would be a good excuse for the Wahabiist's to start an uprising?

His son has been in charge for a long time now - I thought his brother was in charge

if this is the case then there is a 99% chance that King Fahed is dead.
