Hi Net. I did see the post you were talking about and answered your freepmail.

I have told people who have had a post pulled that I was the one who asked the mod to do it.

The person expressed surprise that one of his posts was pulled and wondered who did it. So I told him and we actually became pretty close, because I had the decency to tell that I had asked for it to be pulled and why.

That was a nice surprise, to become friends like that.

I haven't ever been suspended, but one time I was suprised I didn't.

It is a privately owned site, not a collectively owned site. The conservatives who donate hard-earned money to help keep the forum up and running wouldn't keep doing so if they had a beef with how Jim runs the show. The money is handed over with no quarter asked in return.

Good for you, glad to see you are still here. There are many disgruntled ex freepers that have had their feelings hurt and try to extract revenge by posting such drivell on the net. I have met JR and shaken his hand and had lunch along with hin and other Houston FReepers, He is a good man and there is nothing fake about him, I consider it an honor to be a member of this forum.
