I'm truly sorry for your loss.

That being said, the people of LA have elected the Mayor they deserve. The Demographics have shifted enough so the Aztlan is on the fast track to reality.

America has slumbered into a deep sleep and I wonder if it will die before it awakens.

Los Angeles mayor-elect Antonio Villaraigosa said Wednesday that Mexico will play an important role in shaping his policies, reports Mexico's EL UNIVERSAL Online.

Does anyone know Mr. Villaraigosa's citizenship status?

Is he a native born American, if so which generation?

Is he a naturalized citizen?

LA should be made to know that they will lose state and federal funding if they want to be so damned independent.

"Most folks in the world will always fall back and identify with their own first. "

Why do idiots flee their third-world cesspools to come here and the first thing they do is re-create the "culture" and lifestyle they fled?

AS far as I'm concerned every border state needs to be invaded. Walls need to be built with checkpoints and the $2000.00 that is being offered by the Kennedy-McCain bill to illegal immigrants, who are already in this country to come forward to register, should be offered as a bounty on their asses to any one who turns them in to the police.

All of the mayors/assemblymen in the cities that have claimed sanctuary cities should be arrested.Their BS Sanctuary laws are not in compliance with the Federal Laws.

It's time for the MAJORITY to make the MINORITY understand that it is the MAJORITY that will make the rules and enforce the US Constitution and US Laws.

All we need is a nuclear bomb to be set off somewhere in the United States, and I think that ought to send them packing. We're between a rock and a hard place. I was born and raised here in the Los Angeles area. I used to think that was a nice heritage for my children. Hah!

Hencho en Los Angeles via Mexico . .

Los Angeles mayor-elect Antonio Villaraigosa said Wednesday that Mexico will play an important role in shaping his policies, reports Mexico's EL UNIVERSAL Online.

"We are starting a new era. Instead of closing the borders, as stated by Schwarzenegger, we should look at our border as an opportunity," Villaraigosa said. "This is a time of great importance, not just for us to rediscover our roots, but looking to create a mutually beneficial relationship," added the city's first Latino mayor since 1872.

This idiot seems unable to understand that 2/3 of those wanted for murder in LA are illegals, and the majority with LA arrest warrants against them are illegals.

Clearly he wants to be a mayor for illegals than he does a mayor for the CITIZENS.

Have you wondered why the Los Angeles County Republican Party didn't lift a finger to help any Republicans become mayor of Los Angeles -- the second-biggest city in America -- in this last election?

It gets worse and worse. I'll always treasure my ten years in Los Angeles as the best in my life. But I left in 1977 and can never go back thanks to the appalling crime rate and prejudice against "Anglos" in what was once the most incredible place in America to live and raise kids.

WE lived in Santa Monica, which was a marvel of friendliness and community feeling back then....but when I visited a friend there a couple of years ago, no one smiled at anyone on the streets or shops and hardly anyone even went out to jog without a big threatening dog at their side.

The city and environs could always absorb legal immigrants who came there to work.....but so many now come to deal drugs and commit crimes, it can only get worse. Especially with a mayor who openly invites criminals to crash what's left of social services and cause even more chaos.

Because they are their culture these days.

I had a conversation with a very pretty Lebanese immigrant girl at one of my banks yesterday. I talked about how I had been there in the 80s and what not.

I could tell she was Muslim by her demeanor and slightly traditional clothing....black and beaded...but not super conservative dress.

Anyhow, I asked her what part of Lebanon? She replied Southern part. I knew that except for some areas near the coast that most of the Christians had been run out of there. I assumed she was Shia so I asked her. She replied that indeed she was Shia and "proudly so" and her pretty eyes took on a strong glare. Then she went on to rail about Israel, Jews, Lebanese Christians and even Lebanese Sunnis a bit.

She is a US citizen. Been here 16 years.

Do you think she is assimilated? Speaks English perfect, French and Arabic.

Do we want millions and millions of these folks here.

They are not going to just drop their culture cause it's at war with us.

A damn shame. And she was very pretty....maybe an 8.5

Folks are what they are unless they turn their backs on their own which is rare.

History is replete with this.

I am still very Scots-Irish Prod after over 270 years here.

We are bringing in the most massive immigration in history by far and involving cultural, racial, ethnic and religious factors that naive idealistic people think are inconsequential.

Those folks don't read much and think too much with their hearts.
