Amnesty International might as well be the terrorist-supporting organization that it was portrayed as on "24", under the name of "Amnesty Global."
That was a pure classic on that show, when the terrorists called Amnesty Global to get their captured detainee out of US custody so we couldn't get any information on their whereabouts. The show is fiction, but that might as well have been as real as it gets.

Amnesty International = amnesty to the choosen few.

Nothing new here,
AI is now, and always has been, a terrorist-support organization.

It was wrong for AI to call Gitmo a 'gulag', but it is right in calling for improvements in human rights around the world. They don't single out the United States, they are always harassing China, Cuba, Sudan, etc....and they always point out that their human rights records are far worse than ours.

The only point missing from this well-earned attack on Amnesty International is this: The head of AI is a Muslim woman who trained at Harvard Law School and has taken down assorted awards from assorted leftist organizations.
The counterattack on AI has to come every time they rear their ugly heads on reports on any subject in the MSM. Embarrassment is the only effective attack on these stuffed socialistic shirts.

I didn't notice the Sudan "Gulags" they mentioned in the report.

The United States military has done more to secure the blessings of freedom and liberty than Amnesty International ever could ever imagine in their wildest dreams.

Yeah but they mention the genocide over there, which is WAY worse than anything we are doing. They don't compare the US to Sudan or China, the author of this piece is exaggerating.

I noticed that the media is downplaying the outrageous comments by the US AI head- a guy named Schultz.
He encouraged foreign governments to arrest US officials and threatened them to be on guard if they vacation overseas. (The fool didn't recognize that this could incite violence against our leaders by terrorists or war if a country was foolish enough to take their advice.)
Now this is probably a ploy for moonbat funding, but it is outrageous on so many levels. Yet, the leftist media ignored his comments. Because if this is widely distributed it will hurt AI's credibility with the American people.
If a conservative had made outrageous remarks the media would highlight them, not play them down.
Nice covering for the moonbat AI head, media.

Thanks very much for the link. I was gratified to hear our president call AI's assertions "absurd" in his Rose Garden press conference this morning.
Thanks again!
