Prayers for your sis and husband, and the precious little one. I know the one-veined cord is something to seriously watch, but I have also heard of babies being born just fine with that condition. And at 18 weeks it's too soon to know for sure about that heart thing too. My little unborn niece or nephew was watched for just such a thing, and later was seen to have all the heart chambers just fine. He/she will be born in July.
There is no way your sister can relax til she has this healthy one in her arms for keeps, and not even then for about 20 years, but I am praying for peace and calm in her heart nevertheless.
