Thanks for that informative post.
I just lost my total respect for Oprah. Once a liberal, always a liberal. Victims never die, they just get really rich.

How disgusting. She gets rich in this country and then trashes it and supports terrorists.HELLLOOOO! she is a f..ing TV StAR..that's it. " Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Oprah, chic? No, just a dumb chick.

I would suggest writing the magazine and inquiring into how much input Oprah had to this article. I'm looking it up myself.

Am I mistaken, or didn't "O" say she was going to QUIT a year or so ago.......this seems a VERY risky move on her part.....I cannot imagine MANY women wanting to care one wit about Mohammad Atta, et al......or am I really out of touch?

Oprah cannot be denied. In a humanistic world call her Queen Oprah. She knows where all the buttons are and she makes her living pushing them.

I cannot stomach the woman. Her biggest flaw is self absorption, and her promotion of the same. Also, she makes a huge deal of giving to charity, to guests and the needy. It rubs me the wrong way. Giving in public does that.

"“The View’s” Star Jones "

She is the dumbest individual on television. Ever.

'Ignoring the mass-murder, rape, torture, and slavery of Black Christians by Sudan’s Arab Muslim government, despite repeatedly teasing a group of Colorado children (who bought some Black Christian slaves’ freedom) that they’d be on her show. She told them the issue was “too complicated.”

Refusing President Bush’s invitation to serve our country by touring Afghani girls’ schools on his behalf. The normally vocal Oprah had “The View’s” Star Jones speak on her behalf, saying the Bush White House “used” her.

Repeated fundraising for “Women to Women, International,” a Muslim women’s charity that claims it stops honor killings, but whose spokeswoman denies that honor killings have anything to do with Islam. Right.'

...These are only a few of the reasons I can no longer throw my support-translate-money-behind anything Oprah does anymore. Not that my few pennies would make any difference to her, but it's the principle just the same.

She is nothing more than a wealthy Democratic Party donor, and American sellout--selling out the very country that has given her millions-millions of dollars and mindless loyal fans. I find it absolutely difficult to stomach the idea that talking to the rescuers of Black Sudanese is 'too complicated', but the glossing over of Muhummad Atta's murderous agenda is not? Something's definitely wrong with this picture, folks.

-Regards, T.

What does it matter? She trashes the right all the time, and for the life of me, I don't understand her popularity.
Katie Colic is another.

She's non-judgmental and that's why she's well liked. She reminds me of a unitarian preacher *lol* I used to watch her show a lot but not as much. I admire her business sense and thinks she's does a lot of charity but her saccharin non-judgmentalism is annoying. The only person I make an effort to watch is Larry Elder.
