...he saw them in Detroit City running with wild dog packs.

When you see the wild dog packs in the central city, you know you are really lost. It happened to me once.

It really is a topsy turvy world when the coyote gets away isn't it ?

Police said the animal escaped after it led them on a chase through a four-block area between Kercheval and Mack avenues.

Since I am a block off Mack, it would be helpful to know what cross street they were chasing the coyote on. Kercheval and Mack are parallel.

I'm surprised they have them all the way in Grosse Pointe, but my uncle said he saw them in Detroit City running with wild dog packs.

Sounds like a scene from some after-the-plague movie.

The coyote is described as having a similar appearance to a German Shepherd dog, but smaller in size and with a longer snout,

Don't ask me why, but that struck me as hilarious.

The video map showed it just west of Cadieux.

I am 3 blocks from Cadiuex.

The dogs are in the house and the gates are locked. Where is that stupid coyote and how did it get here!

If they reduce the deer population, I'll take the collateral damage. I live five minutes from the center of a city of 500,000+ and have coyote and deer all around. I can't shoot the deer, so I'm going to have to root for the coyotes.

One of the world's best lap dogs, mine, is half chocolate lab and half Weimeraner and weighs about 70 lb. Of course, it does get a little difficult when he decides to sit on me with his rear end under my nose. At least he hasn't broken wind yet while so sitting.

I didn't know that you were in Grosse Ile!

I have two golden retrievers. Fortunately they are in a fenced in yard.

ON THE BORDER OF GROSSE POINTE AND DETROIT, YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR THE COYOTE..IT SOUNDS LIKE A BABY CRYING. I THINK HE TOOK CARE OF OUR 6 AM ALARM, BECAUSE I DON'T HEAR THE PHEASANT CROWING ANYMORE. PLUS THE COYOTE PROBABLY COMMUTES FROM DETROIT TO GROSSE POINTE BECAUSE THE CUTE LITTLE DOGS IN GROSSE POINTE EAT BETTER THAN MOST PEOPLE DO.
