OMG, that's the line my parents used when, in the midst of Mother's Day and Father's Day, I asked them, "so when is children's day?"
"Every day is Children's Day," they always said.
Haha! That's funny. I remember in the early 70's, my father asking me as a little girl what I thought of "women's lib". I told him I planned start "kids' lib" because we needed rights too. I don't remember him responding, though, just sitting there trying not to laugh.
