The Media Are the Enemy [BARF ALERT}

The Media Are the Enemy

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer’s Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist David Horsey demonstrates once again the deep respect America’s media elites have for our armed forces.

(Do I need a sarcasm tag?)

This is a truly disgusting cartoon. I had misgivings on posting the article here found on Little Green Footballs but I wanted people here to know what the MSM really thinks about our Military -

The American public doesn't want to see more dead soldiers. We want to see more dead 'journalists'.

No amount of Barf Alerts would have prepared me for that...They should be swathed in napalm and lit ablaze.

Shouldn't he have been eligible for the draft for Vietnam? I wonder what he did to evade it ...

Judging by that comic, I'd say maybe he smuggled a few bones?

Probably joined the weathermen and that terrorist group that planned to assassinate US senators which Jean Francois Kerry was in.

What works with attention-seeking people is not to give them attention. In fact, the more attention they get for their infantile outbursts, the more they are reinforced and persist in them. When nobody pays attention to whatever outrages they conjure, they come around to their sensibilities.

For too long, the broadcast media have given the spotlight and approbation to these individuals with nothing more going for them but their vulgarity. Thus the whole thrust of the media became to inflame the war between every subculture -- particularly the left and the right, the conservatives and the liberals. That was their old reliables -- to generate interest, at the expense of civility and decency in our society.

That's right, they were willing to sacrifice everybody else for their 15 minutes of fame and fortune. Just turn the lights out on them. The solution to partisanship is not more partisanship or even bipartisanship; it is nonpartisanship, which doesn't make us indifferent, but makes us able to see these manipulations much more clearly.

The putrid radical left again rears its irrelevant, slandering head. OK, America, wake up. It is time you figured out WHO AMERICA'S ENEMIES ARE -- and many of them are right in our own country. From the Congress to the MSM.

A friend sent me this from: soundpolitics.com in Seattle.
(several articles down on the voting problem in Washington)

Here is a snippet of Horsey's response to a letter from an angry reader:

It is unfathomable to me that folks who claim to believe in American values get upset about a poorly–sourced item in Newsweek or a cartoon that is almost a literal interpretation of the facts yet seem to be unconcerned about torture being perpetrated in their name.

Right. Look up the words 'literal' and 'facts,' Horsey. If you really believe that our soldiers would say something like "another one of them dang muslim ragheads up and died on us," or that there really is anything like a "Torture room #4," then your credulity is exceeded only by your contempt for our troops.
