I'm all for party unity but I am also in favor of party discipline. When you have a loose cannon like Mccain stirring up dissent at the exact time you are about to remove the only weapon your enemy has (other than the MSM) you have to eliminate or punish the traitor. If we shift to the left on things and compromise our core values then we will cease to be in power as well.I think what Frist and the boys need to do is remove funding from RINO campaigns and stop the goodies from going to the districts.
