I'm not so sure, I think he may have been following the devil. If you remember, the devil tried to turn Jesus, and failed, but what if he succeeded with Mohammad?
There is a referance in the quran referred to as the "satanic verses" (which is where Salaman Rushdie got the name from for his book). Its a section where Mohammad is "tricked" by the devil.
There are also concerns from himself about the devil.
I think he was fooled and possessed, and thats why this death cult is around today.
Well Islam is specifically an antiChristian religion (of an antiChrist) because it denies the divinity of Jesus, denies His crucifixtion, and His resurrection. Unlike other religions, it spefically acknowledges the existence of Jesus. Islam leads the flock astray.
Islam is also specifically antiSemetic (in the 19th century meaning of that word, anti-Jewish).
