Does anyone ever watch Nightline? I don't know anyone who bothers to watch that show. But this should make the DUers very happy.
Mondays program will honor those killed in Iraq and Afghanistan and whose names have been released by the Defense Department since last years broadcasts.
Somehow I don't think the real goal is honor.
I disregarded Koppel long before he "interviewed" two VC who, oddly enough, remembered, in detail, the lies promoted by John Kerry, all the while their communist minder watched withinn earshot. Koppel is a bad joke on the American public.
I might think this is not so different than reading all the names each year at memorial services for the anniversaries of OK City or 9/11...except it's a "judgement call" when it's the armed forces, whether they are sincerely honoring the fallen soldiers or trying to make a point either way about the "legitimacy" of their mission.
Hard to say, but I can imagine some soldiers' families watching and videotaping this as a "special remembrance" of their loved one, despite it's Ted Koppel and Nightline...and the DU'ers and their compatriots can do whatever they want to about it, as they are soul-less and bitter people who haven't had much success promoting their agenda and world-view lately. JMHO!
